I believe confidence is all that stops anyone from enjoying cooking.
By understanding the food and traditions of other cultures our acceptance expands.
I consider how deep the impact of my environmental footprint is.
I love to learn new things, and I enjoy sharing them.

I’m a happily married mother of two confident young ladies; one is at uni in Melbourne, the other finishing her last years at high school.

When I’m not teaching, I spend my time as the leader of the Sydney Convivium for Slow Food. You can learn more about Slow Food here.

I enjoy the company of friends around a table, I dream of the next destination an aeroplane will take me. I will happily get behind a good cause. I love my vegetable garden and my cat.

I will eat anything – at least once.

And I think every day should have a little PINK to lift the spirit.

pinkkitchen1Sydney’s leafy suburb of West Pymble is home to The Pink Cook’s kitchen. Walk through Kate’s vegetable garden to discover the Pink Kitchen, a new world of cooking.

Classes are relaxed yet informative and range in size from 4 to 8  (unless specified). The Pink Cook brings the world to your plate and challenges you to think about where it’s come from to get there.

Each class concludes by sharing what you have cooked with a chance to talk about what you have learnt, peruse Kate’s extensive cookbook collection and enjoy the company of those you have been cooking with.

Chop and Chat private group bookings are the perfect way to catch up with friends.

Or Join the Pink Cook on a day trip to Cabramatta Sydney’s ‘Little Vietnam’
